After the press conference at the 2020 Anaheim 1 Supercross, FELD’s Dave Prater announced the big news of the 2020 Monster Energy Cup moving from the Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, to California for the first time ever since the events inception in 2012. The 2020 Monster Energy Cup is set to occur on October 10th at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. The new location is at a brand new location for Supercross and we had never even heard of it before. It’s located just South of Compton, California, only 12 miles East of the Los Angeles International Airport and 27 miles West of the Anaheim Angel’s stadium, which has held more Supercross events than any other Stadium.

The Dignity Health Sports Park is a multi-use sports stadium, formerly known as the Home Depot Center and Stubhub Center and it’s located on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. The college stadium’s primary tenants are the Major League Soccer LA Galaxy team and the National Football League’s Los Angeles Charger’s. The stadium is the largest soccer specific stadium in the U.S. and the second-largest of it’s kind in Major League Soccer. It can hold 30,000 spectators.
