Adolf Weil didn’t make it to the GP ranks until he was in his late 20s, but he didn’t let that stop him from racing for 10 year at the highest level. Adolf came to represent Maico—it was a natural—given that both the bike and the rider were German. Weil had an uncanny resemblance to actor Paul Newman. Adolf passed away on May 12, 2011.
