COLTON FACCIOTTI BEATS THE FOREIGN INVADERS IN QUEBEC

Colton Facciotti upheld Canadian honor with a 450 win in Quebec.

There was a lot of anticipation as the 2017 Canadian Nationa Motocross Championship moved to round six at Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil in Quebec for the first-time. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise for everyone as the race track delivered some of the closest racing we have seen this year as Colton Facciotti and Christophe Pourcel both chip away at Matt Goerke’s series lead, and in the 250 class there was a dramatic tightening in the points race, which will ensure that with only four rounds remaining in the series it is far from clear who will be the Champions in 2017.

What everyone thought it would be a cakewalk for former World Champion Christophe Pourcel in Canada, but it has become a close battle.

Shawn Maffenbeier was almost completely out of the 250 title chase, but he made up 40 points on Cole Thompson‚ after Cole crash in moto one and dislocated his thumb.
