450 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2023 ARLINGTON SUPERCROSS

We’re back to another weekend of racing and this time it’s the 450 class setting the fastest lap times of the day before anyone else. The points chase is still relatively close even though Eli Tomac put on a yet another masterclass of racing last weekend. However, things are changing once again this weekend as we head to another Triple Crown Saturday, meaning that the racing can be unpredictable and plenty of fast riders can walk away with a Main Event win.

So stay tuned as we’ll be reporting all the action LIVE from Arlington! News broke out this morning that Eli Tomac will continue racing after the Supercross season, check out the full article HERE.

450 GROUP A QUALIFYING RESULTS (SESSION 2 OF 2)

Jason Anderson would be your fastest qualifier in the 450 class.

Chase Sexton was quick to set the fastest lap time in the second session. It took 5 minutes before anyone shrunk the second gap on Chase Sexton. Christian Craig, Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac ,and Jason Anderson all made their way into the 46 second margin.

What’s also impressive is that Hunter Lawrence in the 250 class would be one of the fastest riders in Arlington sitting in the 46 second lap time as well. With only a handful of minutes remaining, we started to see more riders venture into the 46 second lap time resulting in Chase Sexton losing the lead to Ken Roczen. The track proved to be more simple than the previous tracks allowing more variety in the leaderboard.

And in the final moments of the second session, Jason Anderson would be the fastest rider in the 450 class.

The typical fastest qualifier the past weekends has been Chase Sexton, but with a simpler track at Arlington, we’re seeing more riders set comparable lap times.

450 GROUP A QUALIFYING RESULTS (SESSION 1 OF 2)

Yep, Chase is fastest again. What’s surprising is that he’s nearly a second faster every time.

The first qualifying session of the day took off with the 450 class leading the charge early in the day. Chase Sexton would go on his normal stride setting a ridiculously fast lap time early on, setting a 46.339, almost a whole second faster than Jason Anderson’s 47.223. The lap times were surprisingly close as the entire Group A class was only four seconds from first to last. And to no one’s surprise, Chase Sexton would once again be your fastest qualifier.

Plenty of style in Arlington.

Kyle Chisholm would find himself in the 450 LCQ and due to the simplicity of the track, qualifying for the 450 Mains would be harder than ever.
