DEAN WILSON INJURY UPDATE | ST. LOUIS SUPERCROSS
We’re gutted to see Dean Wilson fall victim to the meat grinder that is the 2022 Supercross season, in one of the freakiest ways imaginable. In the first Main Event of the night, Dean started to get a little sideways through the whoops and would be forced to eject from the bike in a last-ditch effort to avoid the finish line structure. Unfortunately, the finish line structure would be the least of Dean’s problems as his bike would bite back, tearing his nether regions to bits on one of his footpegs.
Fortunately, Deano is one of the toughest riders in the paddock and we’re crossing our fingers that this is just a small bump in the road. Next time you’re strolling through the pits examining all of the many details on the bikes, take a look at the footpegs, then imagine that tearing into you. Yikes. The damage Dean describes in the video down below is pretty horrific. Dean is still eighth in the point standings ahead of Dylan Ferrandis. Heal up Dean!
