STARTING POINT:
“I raced professionally for about 10 years. Eventually, I realized I needed to work a whole lot more to be able to afford racing. I took what I had learned from racing and put it into the sales side of the business. I started sweeping floors in the parts department and worked my way up. I pretty much covered every aspect of working at a motorcycle dealership. I have worked for Suzuki, Can-Am, Bombardier and multiple big retail dealerships.”

THE JOB: “I am currently the general sales manager at Malcolm Smith Motorsports in Riverside. I have the opportunity to help steer the dealership and our new store in Riverside, California. My job involves planning and organizing, directing the shop’s sales people, controlling the sales objectives and elevating the product knowledge of sales staff. It is very satisfying to have retail success. Malcolm’s store is the largest Husqvarna retailer in the Southwest.”
