DREAM JOBS: HOW TO MAKE A LIVING DOING WHAT YOU LOVE (03/12/13)

WARREN JOHNSON
FOX MOTOCROSS MEDIA MANAGER

STARTING POINT: “My first job was in high school pushing a broom at Keystone Racing in Pennsylvania. I worked for stickers. I got my degree in business marketing, and my first job out of college was with Toyota USA. I was always a motorcycle guy at heart and after six years, I went to work for Kawasaki in their accessories department. After Kawi, I had a brief stint at Yamaha, and then I came to Fox.”

THE JOB:
“At Fox, I became one of the first motocross employee sales reps focusing only on our brand. I moved into a dual role as a sales rep and a PR manager. Three years ago, I moved 100 percent into managing all of our motocross PR initiatives and marketing, including advertising, website stuff and videos. One of the most fun parts of the job is getting to work closely with riders like Emig, Carmichael and Dungey.”
