DREAM JOBS: HOW TO MAKE A LIVING DOING WHAT YOU LOVE (08/28/12)

JEREMY GARGES
TWIN AIR BRAND MANAGER

STARTING POINT: “I raced Pro for a few years while I was in college. I came to a crossroads where I realized my moto dreams weren’t happening, so I focused on my schoolwork. I did my internship at Boyesen Engineering during my last year of college. I graduated with a sports marketing degree, which really lends itself to my job now.”

THE JOB: “The best thing about working in the motorycle industry is the different seasons we have. There is the distributor catalog/new model/rider support season. Spring is the sales season, and in the summer we attend a bunch of race events. This job is not the same thing every day. Dealing with race teams, riders and going to the races is great. I feel lucky that I was able to turn my hobby into a career. I’m still a diehard, but you have to be careful not to lose your love for that hobby.”
