WORKS CONNECTION PRESIDENT

STARTING POINT: “After high school I moved from Northern California to SoCal to work for my dad, who owned a street rod aftermarket company called Gennie Shifter. I learned the manufacturing processes and the ins and outs of business. One day I wanted to buy a skid plate for my bike, but couldn’t find anything I liked. I saved up some money, moved back to Northern California, and started designing my own skid plates.”

THE JOB: “I design products, work with our machine shops, engineers, and patent attorneys. I’m also responsible for updating our website, taking product photography, marketing and working with our advertising agency. There’s never a dull moment, and while it can get hectic at times, I wouldn’t change a thing. After 26 years I still enjoy coming to work, and I am fortunate that I make a living play around with dirt bikes!”
