DYLAN FERRANDIS IS ON PROBATION AFTER TAKING OUT CHRISTIAN CRAIG AT THE 2020 ANAHEIM 2 SUPERCROSS
Coming into the 2020 Anaheim 2 Supercross the 250 West class was far over shadowed by the competitive 450SX group. But after a wild 250 Main Event at round three, the fans and critics can’t stop talking about the 250 Main Event and all the carnage that went on. Most of the conversations are revolving around Dylan Ferrandis’ take out move on Christian Craig. If you haven’t watched it yet, you can see a video of it in the 250 Main Event highlight video by clicking here.
After the race, the AMA delayed posting of the official results until around midnight after most Supercross fans were already in bed. Before the results were made final, many people expected and wanted Dylan Ferrandis to be docked positions, but instead he was issued a 12-month probation where he will be fined if he violates a rule in his probation.
DYLAN FERRANDIS RESPONDS TO THE PROBATION
Dylan posted on instagram about the situation: “Unfortunately I had this racing incident with Christian Craig that make both of us crash during the main event, I want to apologize to him and I hope he’s not injured, definitely not the way I wanted to pass him.” Said Ferrandis.“Racing is never easy, specially when you dedicated your whole life to win and you had a 15min race to do it, sometime the decision we take are not the smarter… The AMA gave me a 12 months probation with fine if I violate a rule in my probation period.”
Christian Craig said via instagram: “I can only control what I’m doing on the bike. What happened last night was out of my control. I take pride in being a good role model for this sport so I won’t say anymore. I’m focused and looking forward to next weekend. Thank you to my team and all the fans. The support is REAL and I’m thankful!”
