Although it has taken the KTM and Husky Special Edition awhile to hit the showrooms, basically coming into the USA in dribs and drabs. The two special editions from KTM and Husqvarna are now going to be available in large numbers.

Featuring a striking, brand-new look and class-leading performance, Husqvarna Motorcycles North America, Inc. is excited to reveal the 2021 FC 450 Rockstar Edition. Most recently acclaimed as the starting point for Zach Osborne’s 2020 AMA 450MX championship-winning Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing machine and the proven basis for Jason Anderson’s 2018 450SX title, the competition-ready motorcycle features numerous upgrades and improvements over the standard FC 450.

Building off an incredible conclusion to the 2020 AMA Supercross Championship with a Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing podium sweep via Osborne, Anderson and teammate Dean Wilson, the 2021 FC 450 Rockstar Edition is designed to further increase its winning potential inside the arena. Beneath the updated Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team graphics, the FC 450 Rockstar Edition uses Husqvarna Motorcycles’ lightweight FC 450 chassis, together with the latest WP XACT suspension. Delivering precise handling, the optimized suspension improves rider confidence allowing all racers to master the toughest terrain with conviction.

The main technical change on the new Rockstar Edition FC450 is the Husqvarna Bluetooth Connectivity Unit on the handlebar pad. It was created to compete with Yamaha’s WiFi PowerTuner app.

With a focus on the latest technology and offering fully customizable riding experiences, the 2021 FC 450 Rockstar Edition comes with Husqvarna Motorcycles’ all-new Connectivity Unit, which together with the myHusqvarna app was launched in October 2020. Fitted to the handlebar pad and controlled with the application, personalized engine maps and fine-tuned suspension settings can be created and stored to provide the ideal set-up for any track or conditions.

Ensuring an uncompromised power delivery from the SOHC 450 cc engine, an upgraded, high-performance Brembo hydraulic clutch system provides perfect action in all conditions, while also delivering exceptional reliability.

Completed with an FMF Racing Factory 4.1 silencer, GUTS Factory high-grip seat cover, Rekluse clutch cover, Factory wheel set, ProTaper handlebars and Factory CNC-machined triple clamps with adjustable offset, the FC450 Rockstar Edition is built to perform at the highest level, straight out of the showroom.

KTM is pleased to announce details of the new KTM 450SXF Factory Edition, offering enticing performance and aesthetic upgrades for 2021, along with the innovative addition of KTM app connectivity straight off the showroom floor. With its development based on feedback straight from top-level Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team stars, competition never stops as KTM remains true to its fundamental goal of continuously pushing the boundaries while searching for something even better for all racers at the starting line. From a stadium seat, a track fence or through a screen, the sight of a race-winning motorcycle in full flight is something special for every Read to Race fan.

From the rear view: Akrapovic muffler (not complete system), KTM Factory wheels, Factory seat cover, Red Bull graphics, orange frame and Hinson clutch cover (but not a Hinson clutch).

After securing the 2019 AMA Supercross 450SX Championship, Cooper Webb collected 13 podium results and four Main Event victories to finish runner-up in the 2020 championship aboard the KTM 450SXF Factory Edition. This machine was also the tool for Marvin Musquin to post seven top-three moto finishes in the 2020 AMA Pro Motocross series as he bounced back from injury with a satisfying fourth in the final 450MX class standings.

The front profile in narrow and aggressive looking. There is a holeshot device on the fork guard, front rotor guard on the brake and the KTM Connectivity Unit on the handlebars.

Taking full advantage of the experience collected through countless training and racing laps, KTM has applied key upgrades to the latest installment of the KTM 450SXF Factory Edition, including a near-identical visual aspect to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machines raced in Supercross and Motocross. When it comes to performance, there’s a direct link to the works machines of Cooper and Marvin as the bike comes with an orange frame, KTM PowerParts Factory wheels, KTM PowerParts Factory triple clamps (anodized in orange), KTM PowerParts composite skid plate, Hinson clutch cover and an orange rear sprocket. The spec list also boasts elements like the Akrapovic muffler, the KTM PowerParts Factory start holeshot device, the semi floating front brake and the disc guard.

The 2021-1/2 Factory Edition is limited production run with only 400 bikes made each year.

A notable addition for 2021 is the Connectivity Unit that comes as standard on this special model and is integrated onto the new bar pad. This means the innovative myKTM App can be synced immediately and without the need of any additional parts. Through the use of the myKTM app riders of all levels can customize engine settings.

KTM’s Connectivity Unit replaces the crossbar pad and mapping is controlled on your smart phone via Bluetooth (not WiFi).

An additional benefit of the KTM app is its ability to offer suspension recommendations based on every rider’s personal characteristics. Through a few easy menu options and swipes of your smartphone, every 2021 KTM 450SXF Factory Edition rider can shape their bike to a variety of conditions or terrain.
