FINAL 2021 PRO MOTOCROSS NATIONAL POINT STANDINGS

What a good AMA Pro motocross championship series it has been. After a strange 2021 season, this year felt like it was back to normal racing. Fan lined the fences again.

The rider of the year has to be the factory Star Racing Yamaha rider of Dylan Ferrandis. The Frenchman was surprisingly strong amongst the best racer in the world.

Here is how the 2021 Pro motocross season points ended up after the last round in Hangtown.

450 OVERALL SERIES POINTS

Dylan Ferrandis won the 2021 450 National championship. 

The rookie 450 Frenchman, Dylan Ferrandis rode unbelievable in the 2021 AMA Pro Motocross championship. He stayed consistent and was in great shape to bet out the past champions of Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen. Congrats Dylan, you won over a lot of fans this outdoor season.

Since Ken Roczen DNF’ed the last moto at Hangtown do due to a first turn crash Tomac pasted Roczen for second in points. 

250 OVERALL POINT STANDINGS

Jett Lawrence won the 250 National championship. 

The 250 championship came down to the last moto in Hangton as Jett Lawrence crashed three times between the two motos. Justin Cooper didn’t make it easy on Jett as he went 1-1 to close in on the point gap. In the end, the 18-year-old Aussie won the championship by six points.

Justin Cooper broke his thumb at Washougal and had to race injured. He still finished second on the season.
