For 2025, Husqvarna has announced a new generation TC85 to underline its continued development of high-performance, two-stroke minicycles. The competition-focused machine is now built around an all-new chassis that offers significant improvements to handling and stability, while an updated engine boosts bottom to mid-range power.

For 2025, the new frame mirrors the construction of the full-size machines, the new WP XACT shock, which is 16mm shorter than before to ensure a more balanced chassis, is mounted onto the upper frame tube. Additionally, the steering head angle is reduced by a half degree and positioned 6mm closer to the center of the chassis for enhanced cornering, especially when exiting turns.

The 85cc two-stroke engine benefits from several new components—including a new cylinder head, spark plug, ignition exhaust pipe and the jetting specs inside the Keihin carburetor have been reconfigured to suit the improved engine.

The new swingarm is 300 grams lighter and together with the new frame and WP XACT shock they combine to reduce the overall height of the TC85. Additionally, a modernized rider triangle, created by the new footpegs, handlebars and lower seat, further enhances the riding experience.

(1) Revised engine – delivers a significant boost from low to mid-range power
(2) Engine position – the engine is rotated three degrees upwards at the front, and by pivoting from the same mounting point at the swingarm, the weight is distributed more effectively
(3) New frame – with revised geometry for improved stability and handling
(4) New swingarm – 300 grams lighter and made using an updated process for optimal rigidity
(5) New WP XACT rear shock with shorter travel – refines balance and stability
(6) New bodywork – scaled down from the full-size machines with ergonomics to suit youth riders
(7) New graphics – replicating the same design as the full-size models for a modern, unified look

(8) Easily adjustable WP XACT forks – optimal performance and low weight
(9) Maxxis Maxxcross MX-ST tires – exceptional straight-line stability and excellent traction
(10) Two engine maps – for maximum performance in all conditions

(11) Formula brakes and Galfer rotors – deliver best-in-class stopping power
(12) Miba hydraulic clutch system – consistent action and durability
(13) High-grip seat cover – maximum comfort and control
(14) Black Excel rims and CNC-machined hubs – low unsprung weight and exceptional strength
(15) Frame Geometry – The steering head angle is reduced by a half degree and positioned 6mm closer to the center of the chassis for enhanced cornering
