2021 KLX300R

The returning KLX300R is a high-performance off-road trail bike, bridging the gap between a weekend play bike and a full race-ready KX competition machine. A fan favorite, the Kawasaki KLX300R is power by a water-cooled, four-valve, DOHC cam, 292cc, fuel-injected, four-stroke engine with a six-speed transmission and electric start. The suspension travel at both ends is 11.2 inches with 43mm Kayaba forks and a rear Uni-Trak single-shock system that features preload adjustability along with adjustable compression and rebound damping. Braking is accomplished with a 270mm front rotor and a 240mm rear rotor. The KLX300R features bodywork designed to facilitate rider movement. The slim design of the frame and bodywork helps the rider grip the bike for increased control, while the KX-inspired seat design offers great freedom of movement for off-road riding. The all-new 2021 Kawasaki KLX300 motorcycle is designed to provide unlimited on- and off-road fun for riders of all skill levels. Staying true to its roots, the all-new KLX300 lightweight dual-sport motorcycle comes ready with all the tools necessary to deliver an exciting ride on paved streets, back roads or wooded trails. The 292cc, water-liquid-cooled, DOHC engine features cam profiles sourced from the KLX300R off-road model, an electrofusion cylinder and ultra-hard coating in the aluminum cylinder. The result is a crisp throttle response that complements the motorcycle’s rider-friendly low to mid-range and offers improved engine reliability. Fitted with a 21-inch front wheel, off-road tires, upgraded suspension, 250mm front rotor and single-piston rear caliper with a 240mm rotor, the KLX300 is equally at home navigating city traffic or traversing wooded trails. 2021 KLX300 SUPERMOTO

There is also a new street version of the KLX300. The 2021 KLX300SM (SuperMoto) is a street-focused, lightweight, 33.8-inch seat height supermoto motorcycle that comes with a smooth power delivery and crisp throttle response. Where the KLX300 dual-sport is equal parts on-road and dirt, the KLX300SM receives a host of supermoto-inspired components. This includes 17-inch front and rear wheels paired with street tires, supermoto-tuned suspension, and aggressive styling. These differences establish the KLX300SM as the ultimate lightweight supermoto bike. The MSRP is $5999 in Lime Green/Ebony and Oriental Blue/Ebony.
