MXA FIRST RIDE VIDEO: 2021 HONDA CRF450 WORKS EDITION

The 2021 Honda CRF450 Works Edition is here and the MXA wrecking crew took the new bike out to Glen Helen to shake it down and learn all about the new bike. For $12,380, the 2021 Honda CRF450WE model comes with a long list of aftermarket parts including a full titanium Yoshimura exhaust system (yes full, not just the muffler like KTM), it has a Hinson clutch basket and cover, the fork legs and shock shaft are titanium nitride-coated and the shock shaft’s diameter was increased from 16-millimeters to 18. The cylinder ports in the engine have been hand polished and the cylinder head cover is red instead of black. The wheels have D.I.D DirtStar LT-X rims and the stock triple clamps were coated black. It has the Team Honda HRC Throttle Jockey graphics with a Throttle Jockey gripper seat cover and a Twin Air filter.

Just before we spun our first laps on the new bike, Honda released the info on their new 2022 Honda CRF450 line. Next year’s CRF450 will have new ECU settings and new suspension valving. Click here to see the full 2022 Honda CRF450 lineup, all six of them.
