GODSPEED! DAVE McCOY (1915-2020)

Dave McCoy, the pioneer of Mammoth Mountain and a patriarch of the ski industry and a loyal motocross racer, passed away at the age of 104 years old this past week. Without Dave there would never have been a Mammoth Mountain Motocross. Dave raced with the International Old Timer’s Association (OTMX) and helped them immensely over the years with fund raising and allowing them to hold their own special race every year at Mammoth. MXA sends our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. We think that this Tom White Lifetime Achievement Award video with Ricky Johnson is a fitting tribute.
