GP OF TRENTINO #3: BELIEVE IT OR NOT! ROMAIN FEBVRE NOW LEADS THE 450 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

With only two races left in the 2021 World Motocross Championship, Maxime Renaux came out of his late season slump to ride up to his potential to earn enough points at the third Trentino round to clinch the 250 World Championship with the two rounds in Mantova (on Wednesday and Sunday) left. That wasn’t a big surprise as Renaux had built up a early lead in the title chase and never relinguished it, Meanwhile in the 450 class, the results were shaken not stirred as Romain Febvre managed to get the red plate, as the points leader, heading to the double-header at Mantova. Jeffrey Herlings crashed twice to end up fourth for the day, dropping him back to third in the 450 points chase behind Febvre and Gajser.
