GRAND PRIX OF TRENTINO #1 RESULTS: TOM VIALE WINS 250 ITALIAN GP

Tom Vialle missed three GPs, but has fought his way into the top three.

KTM’s Tom Vialle won the opening GP in Trentino with a 1-1 score. It was Vialle’s 14th Grand Prix victory in his career and moved him into third in thr 250 World Championship standings. Frenchman Maxime Renaux, who is the current 250 GP points leader who crashed in the second moto, but came back eight lost a lot of ponst with his mediocre 6-8 day, but has such a big points lead that he can afford it. Renaux’s points lead is now 92 points with four races to go. Jago Geerts is second, but with only with only a four-point lead on fast closing Tom.
