The second round of the 2023 Hangtown Motocross National is here and the series is just warming up, literally. Summertime is upon us and this is the weather that separates the riders. After the first round, Hunter Lawrence showed that he was all business and went 1-1 to win the overall. Justin Cooper might be the biggest threat to Hunter at Hangtown as he went 1-1 here in 2021. Let’s see how 250 qualifying went down.

250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS

Justin is the man with the chip on his shoulder ready for redemption.

Guillem Farres got out to a quick start with Jo Shimoda taking over the pole on lap 3. Then the rivels of Justin Cooper and RJ Hampshire started to go at it. Milliseconds separated the two riders. On the final lap of qualifying Justin Cooper put in a heater to to knock Hampshire off the pole for the fastest overall qualifying spot. Cooper qualified first in both sessions.
