HOW TO GET INTO GLEN HELEN RACEWAY FOR THURSDAY MOTOCROSS PRACTICE

DIRECTIONS TO THE GLEN HELEN’S RACE TRACKS FOR THIS WEEKEND’S RACES ONLY

Follow the red arrows to Glen Helen Parkway (off of Interstate 15 or Interstate 215). Enter Glen Helen Regional Park at the last entrance if you’re are coming from the 15 Freeway or the  first entrance if you are coming from the 215 Freeway. Then, go up and around the Amphitheater before turning left on to the back road to Glen Helen Raceway (one mile from the corner to the Triple Step-Up).

The main road into Glen Helen is closed for long overdue repaving. Also the road through the neighboring housing project is closed to Glen Helen race traffic. Racers and spectators can only get into Glen Helen Raceway by taking Glen Helen Parkway off the 215 freeway or 15 freeway, and follow the orange “RACE TRAFFIC” signs to the Glen Helen Pavillion gate closest to the river. Drive through that gate and continue up the hill, past the grassy concert area, until you come to the cones that direct traffic to turn left on the paved road that leads directly to the Glen Helen tracks. Drive carefully on the paved downhill road because it has some tight turns, and later in the day there could be opposing traffic. Consider this an adventure through parts of Glen Helen that few people have ever seen. The track entrance gate will be at the REM tower. For more info go to www. glenhelen.com .
