WATCH THE 2023 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS FINALE IN UNDER 12 MINUTES

Chase Sexton holeshot and ran wire-to-wire for his 6th win of the 2023 Supercross season.

Eli Tomac had 7 wins, but sat out the Salt Lake City Finale with a ruptured Achilles tendon that he suffered last week in Denver.

Ken Roczen injured his left knee a few turns into the 450 Main and pulled out of the race—which meant he didn’t get the 2 points he needed to be third overall in the 2023 AMA 450 Supercross Championship.

Aaron Plessinger returned from the injured list to finish second. His toughest competition of the night,  was a TV camera during his h450 heat race.

Justin Hill got his best Supercross result ever with third in front of Adam Cianciaulo It was his fourth ever podium of his career

Spanish rider Joan Cros made his second 450 main event with a second in the 450 LCQ. He was 18th in the 450 Main. For bragging right back home in Barcelona, he could tell the folks at home that he was tied with Cole Seely on 450 points (for 37th place in the standings).

In the 250 East/West Showdown, Jett Lawrence caught and passed leader R.J. Hampshire, with some contact, to go on to a less than unexpected victory.

Equally unexpected was that Hunter Lawrence, the recently crowned 250 East Champion could get no higher than 6th.

Max Anstie, who won the only other 250 East/West race this year, was locked in a tight battle with Haiden Deegan for second in the 250 West, but came up one point short of clinching second overall when he finished 7th or Deegan’s 8th—but losing second place by one point to Haiden Deegan—even tough it rained — which worked in Anstie’s favor a the first 250 East/West Showdown in New Jersey.
