KAWASAKI’S 2011 MOTOCROSS CONTINGENCY:

How the 2011 Contingency Program Works…

Buy a Kawasaki. Purchase a new or used 2010 or newer U.S. KX model Kawasaki from a U.S. dealer or a private party. Green must remain the dominant color and Kawasaki logos must be visible on the machine. Canadian models are not eligible for contingency.

Register for the program online beginning January 1, 2011 and prior to your first race. You will receive an automated email response once your registration has been approved. If you are currently registered in the program, you must update your account every program year prior to your first race or anytime there may be changes to your account.

Race in a Contingency paying event. A list of paying race series, qualified classes, and payouts are posted here.

Contingency payments will only be paid to riders with a valid U.S. social security number and a valid U.S. mailing address.

Register for the program prior to receiving contingency. Riders will not qualify for contingency payments prior to enrollment date.

There must be a minimum of six riders in a class for full contingency to be paid out. No payments will be issued in classes of less than six riders. DNS is not considered as an entry. For all team race series, each team will be limited to one contingency payment per entry.

Any rider falsifying claims will automatically be disqualified from the program.

Every racer must submit a signed W-9 via mail. Go to www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf to download form.
