KEEPING TRACK OF TRAVIS PASTRANA–JAN 15

We just got off the phone with Debbie Pastrana, the mother and number one supporter of Travis Pastrana, and she had quite a bit to say about TP. As you might know, Travis is currently out in southern California attending several rounds of the supercross series (you’ll see him this weekend in Anaheim).

After the weekend is complete, Pastrana will venture his way back across the U.S. to Vermont, where he’ll get two days of testing aboard a rally car. A rally car you say? That’s right, because Travis is going to race the first few rounds of the Rally Series, beginning the last weekend of January in Atlanta, Michigan. Pastrana will be the driver and will be supplied with a team and navigator.

As for his return to supercross, Debbie informed us that Travis is planning on making his return in St. Louis on March 13th. Committed to racing three supercross races, the final two rounds (Salt Lake City and Las Vegas) are also on Pastrana’s schedule. Other commitments Travis has made to his sponsors are the U.S. Open in October and the entire AMA Supermoto series. What about the Nationals? As of right now, he’s interesting in racing a few rounds, but those races are to be announced. Travis will hop on a bike again at the end of February, and it will be great to see him back out racing. His major sponsors are Suzuki, Thor, Sobe, Puma, M2R, and Alpinestars.
