MAIN EVENT RESULTS // 2022 RED BULL STRAIGHT RHYTHM

The 2022 Red Bull Straight Rhythm has been jam packed with action and the Huntington Beach venue has created an amazing atmosphere for Straight Rhythm racing. The head-to-head battles have been intense and the weather has been perfect with overcast skies and temps bouncing around the 70-degrees mark. 250 CLASS // FINAL RESULTS

Marvin Musquin vs Ken Roczen – Musquin wins 2-0

The rain started to come down just as the semi finals were under way. The track got more and more slick and it certainly affected the racing. Josh Hansen made a mistake in his battle with Barcia for third place on the podium and he cased a triple in a rhythm section and Barcia also got a lot of wheel spin coming out of the gate and was way behind before Josh Hansen’s mistake.

For the final showdown, it was a Musquin and Roczen show. The track was now muddy and slick, and Roczen slide off the line, starting the first race at a big deficit behind Musquin. However, Kenny tried his best and got close in the whoops at the finish, but he couldn’t close the gap. In the second race, Musquin shot out of the gate first again, but this time Roczen was closer. Still, the Frenchman put his scrubbing skills to work and got the win over Ken Roczen.

Josh Hansen beat Justin Barcia (best two out of three), to earn third place on the podium.

125 B Final Results: Derek Kelley beats Ryan Morias  (best two out of three), to earn third place on the podium. 

Ryan Morias finished fourth in the 125 class.
