MOTOCROSS: THE STRAIGHT UP FACTS HEADING INTO BUDDS CREEK

1. Marvin Musquin went 1-1 for his fourth win of the season. It was his 14th career win and he has won the last six motos this season. Musquin joins Eli Tomac as riders to win three straight overalls this season.
2. Musquin has now won Unadilla in both classes, becoming just the fifth rider since 1993 to do this. (Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Kevin Windham, and Ryan Villopoto).
3. Musquin is the only KTM rider to win Unadilla in both classes.


4. Martin Davalos followed up his career best ride with another career best ride, going 8-2 for a second overall.
5. For the ninth consecutive race two European bikes were on the overall podium.
6. Cole Seely earned his first overall podium of the season with a 3-6 finish. It was also the first 450MX overall podium for Honda this season.


7. Cooper Webb went 7-3 for a fourth overall. The third place in moto two ties for his best moto finish of the season (S’wick Moto 1)
8. Blake Baggett went 2-11 to round out the top five. His second moto finish was the worst moto finish of his season and ended his run as one of just two riders with a top-10 in each moto.
9. Dean Wilson, the other rider who entered Unadilla with a top-10 in each moto this season, was able to keep his streak alive riding to a 9-4 day. He is now the only 450MX class rider with a top-10 finish in each moto.


10. Eli Tomac matched his season’s worse overall finish with a ninth in Unadilla. He also finished ninth in Glen Helen way back in round two. Tomac went 10-5 in ‘Dilla, but still holds a 27 point lead over Blake Baggett in the point standings.
11. Jeremy Martin earned his second overall win of the season, going 2-1 in Unadilla. His last win was High Point in round four and he sits second in the points standings.
12. Martin’s victory was Honda’s fourth ever 250MX class victory in Undailla with their last win coming in 2013.


13. Joey Savatgy went 1-4, good for second overall in Unadilla. It was his fourth podium on the season and he sits third in the point standings. Savatgy has now won a moto in three straight rounds.
14. Zach Osborne earned a third place overall finish with a 3-5 in Unadilla. It was his ninth podium of the season and he holds a 63 point lead in the 250MX class Championship Standings over Martin.
15. Osborne is looking to become the first Husqvarna rider to win Budds Creek back-to-back.


16. Shortly after racing Loretta Lynn’s, Rookie Justin Cooper made his Lucas Oil Motocross 250MX class debut in Unadilla. He impressed with a 12-2 finish good for fifth overall.
