MOTOCROSS: THE STRAIGHT UP FACTS HEADING INTO INDIANA

1. Justin Bogle went 1-3 for his first career 450MX Class overall victory. It was also Suzuki’s first overall 450 win of the season and they have now won at least one overall in eight consecutive seasons (longest active streak for any brand).

2. Marvin Musquin went 2-4 for second place overall. It was his eighth podium of the season and he sits only two points behind Blake Baggett for second in the points.

3. Eli Tomac went 7-1 for third overall in Budds Creek. It was his seventh podium of the season and he holds a 28-point lead over Baggett going into the final round.

4. Bagget’s 5-2 finish was good for fourth place. He will need to finish four points better than Tomac in the first moto of the last round to have a chance at the title in the last moto of the season.

5. Before this weekend, Dean Wilson was the only rider to have a top-10 finish in every moto this season. Unfortunately that streak ended as he went 16-5 in Budds Creek but still was able to sneak into 10th place overall.

6. Martin Davalos enjoyed a podium in the first moto, but finished 38th in moto two for a 12th place overall finish (and will miss Crawfordsville with an injury sustained in the second moto at Budds).

7. Adam Cianciarulo went 1-2 in route to his first career 250MX Class overall victory. The moto victory in the first moto was also his first. He is also the fifth different 250 winner this season.

8. There was a first time winner in both classes, with Bogle and Cianciarulo bringing home their first overalls.

9. Zach Osborne went 8-1 for second place overall, clinching the 2017 250MX Class Championship. It is Husqvarna’s first ever 250MX Class Championship (sixth different brand to win a 250MX title: Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, KTM, and now Husqvarna).

10. Osborne is now the ninth rider to win a 125/250F East/West Regional Championship and then follow it up with a 250MX title (Cooper Webb, Tomac, Ryan Dungey, Ryan Villopoto, Ivan Tedesco, James Stewart, Ricky Carmichael, and Doug Henry).

11. This is only the 10th time in 250 National history that there has been five different winners in the same season.
