MXA VIDEO: 2025 YAMAHA YZ450F TEST RIDE

Follow Motocross Action through day one of testing on the 2025 Yamaha YZ450F at Glen Helen Raceway. The YZ450F has been a back-to-back 450 Shootout winner for MXA and now it has seen some significant updates for 2025. It has a new stiffer linkage, new suspension settings with a softer spring rate, new ECU map settings, new front engine mounts, and an updated clutch with more holes for better cooling. Also, the foot peg mounts have been shaved down (so you don’t stand on them), the map switch housing has been beefed up a little bit as well, the throttle tube has been lengthened by 10mm.
