MXA VIDEO: WE TEST THE 2022 HONDA CRF450

The 2022 Honda CRF450 is here and the MXA wrecking crew has been logging hours on the new machine. Last year, the 2021 CRF450 was all-new head-to-toe. It came with a new frame, updated suspension and a new engine with a linear KTM style power band. It also gained the hydraulic clutch, new body work and a lighter weight. Unfortunately, Honda missed the mark on ECU mapping and suspension settings for 2021.

Thankfully, a new re-flash of the ECU was offered to riders who were willing to take their bike back to the dealership about 5-6 months after the bike was released. However, riders were on their own to fix the suspension. New for 2022, the Honda CRF450 has updated mapping and suspension settings and in this video we shake down the updated bike, explaining our opinion on it after a long day at Glen Helen with three different test riders going back and forth on the bike.
