Georges Jobe was born on January 6, 1961. He won his first 250 World Championship is 1980, and was the youngest rider to ever win a world title at 19 years old. He followed up with the 1981 250 crown and the 1987, 1991 and 1992 500 World Championships. In 1988 he moved to the 125 class to try to become the first rider to win World Championships in all three premier classes. He didn’t win the Triple Crown. George passed away in 2012.
