MXA’S TWO-STROKE TUESDAY: GARED STEINKE
The bike in full glory. Look at the print on the graphics and seat. Welcome back to 1992!
Gared Steinke decided to race the AMA Nationals once again, this time aboard a Husqvarna TC125. For the second week in a row Steinke has qualified for the 250 program. While he isn’t getting a high enough place to score AMA points, mad props to someone who found a way to keep premix in the paddock. And remember Glen Helen’s Triple Step-Up jump that every factory rider was afraid of — Steinke jumped it every lap on his 125 two-stroke and even threw in some heel clickers on the way over. Below is a gallery of Steinke racing at Glen Helen.
