ONBOARD WITH TONY CAIROLI AS HE WATCHES TIM GAJSER DISAPPEAR OVER THE HORIZON

Tony starts by trying the chase down Arnaud Tonus (4), but in the process gets passed by Tim Gajser (243). They both get by Tonus, but Gajser slowly but surely pulls away to a 6 second lead (and the victory). The top three in moto one was Gajser, Cairoli and Tonus. Gajser would win both motos in France, It got worse for Cairoli in moto 2 as he fell several times and ended up 17th. Tony’s 2-17 was good enough for 7th overall and he still leads the 2019 FIM 450 World Championship by 10 points over Tim Gajser.
