PATTERSON WINS WMA WORLD CUP

ÿWe just received a call from Jessica Patterson’s boyfriend/go-to guy Eddie Ray and he informed us that Jessica just won the coveted WMA (Women’s Motocross Association) World Cup. Held at Cycle Ranch, Texas, the one race shootout is designed to crown the best woman racer in the world. Apparently Patterson won, and she won in convincing fashion by grabbing the holeshot in both motos and proceeded to lead wire-to-wire. That doesn’t tell the entire story, however, as Eddie and Jessica were at the Mini Olympics in Florida for the days leading up to the WMA World Cup. Saturday at 2 pm the pairing of Patterson and Ray left Florida and drove 17 hours straight (roughly 1,000 miles) in order to catch practice and race.

In the men’s 250F and 450 Pro classes Wil Hahn won every single moto.
