450 CLASS QUALIFYING RESULTS | MONSTER ENERGY CUP SUPERCROSS (UPDATED)
2019 MONSTER ENERGY CUP QUALIFYING RESULTS
The 2019 Monster Energy Cup is finally here and the track is hot as the Cup class riders have finished qualifying. With the unique track set up that goes both ways and the extra classes that the MEC features, the practice and qualifying schedule was a little different than usual. Instead of an 8-minutes free, untimed practice and two 10-minute qualifying sessions. The Cup class, 250 Futures and Supermini Futures classes got an 8-miniute free practice and two qualifying sessions, each 20-minutes long. Also, with the Cup class racing on the track forwards and backwards during the night show, they qualified on the track forwards and backwards. So in the first session they started on the outside of the stadium and rode the track the standard way. Then in the second session they started inside of the stadium and turned to the right handed first turn and to ride on the track backwards. After the second session the lap times were be combined from both sessions to make an average time for each rider. The top 18 of the combined times qualified for the night show while the rest will transfer to an LCQ to battle for the final four positions.
The Cup class isn’t the only class racing in Las Vegas. The 250 Futures, previously named Amateur All-Stars and the Supermini Futures are also racing. Click the link above to find their results along with the LIVE TV Schedule, track maps, press day riding video and more.
