RIDE WITH KEN ROCZEN AT SLC-4: COMPARE HIS FIRST 7 LAPS WITH HIS LAST 7
It isn’t the altitude because 4000 feet doesn’t classify as “high altitude,” especially after two weeks to get acclimated. Ken has overcome more trauma than any one athlete can be expected to endure. We are sure that he will rise above whatever the cause of the problems he’s having in Salt Lake City. There is no doubt that he has the speed to win, and he certainly had the whoops wired on Wednesday in Rice-Eccles Stadium—at least for the first 7 laps.
