2022 DENVER SUPERCROSS // 450 QUALIFYING RESULTS

Denver, Colorado marks the second to last round of the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross season. At this part of the season it is the Monster Energy Star Racing rider of Eli Tomac’s championship to lose. He can clinch the title today if all goes smooth. Here is how qualifying went down.

450 SX OVERALL RESULTS 

Sexton was the fastest in both sessions. 

Jason Anderson and Chase Sexton was going back and forth on the pole in the second round of 450 SX qualifying. On the 7th lap Chase Sexton joined the battle and hit the pole with a 44.624 lap time.

Tomac decided to join the battle as will coming close to beating out Chase but it wasn’t enough.

Sexton was the fastest in both qualifying session with Tomac on second, Anderson in third, Musquin fourth and Webb fifth.

Anderson went for it on the final lap but went down at the end of the sand section.

450 SX RESULTS // SESSION 1

Chase Sexton topped the first qualifying session.

It was Cooper Webb that took the early pole in the first 450 qualifying session. Cooper soon got pushed back to sixth with Sexton, Stewart, Musquin, Tomac and Barcia pushing him back by breaking into the 48 second lap times.

On the sixth lap Tomac broke into the 47 second lap time with a 47.749. The next lap Musquin and Webb did the same pushing Tomac to third.

The track seemed to start breaking in allowing riders to lay down faster times on the end of the session with Jason Anderson getting into the 46 second lap time and taking the pole with Sexton getting close.

On e the checked flag lap Sexton passed Anderson with the fastest time of practice with a 46.441.
