The answer: Lance Moorewood (bottom left) appeared on more MXA covers than any other test rider. When he decided to switch to golf Larry Brooks replaced him. David Gerig (upper left) was a CMC number One rider who joined MXA only to move to Dirt Bike and eventually to Dirt Wheels before  becoming an ordained minister. Gary Jones (center) was a four-time 250 National Champion who never quit racing. Gary is the only rider to win the World Vet Motocross Championships in the Over-30, Over-40, Over-50 and Over-60 classes (he isn’t old enough to race the Over-70 class for three more years). Jody Weisel (far right) came to MXA in late 1976 and has been in charge for 43 years. He was the CMC Number One Vet Pro in 1984 and the REM Number One in 1998.
