2022 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS: TAKE ONE LAST LAP ON AN ANIMATED SUPERCROSS TRACK

The only Championship left to be resolved for the 2022 AMA Supercross series is the relatively uninspiring 250 West, where Christian Craig would have to finish outside of the top 15 to lose it. With no Eli Tomac at the race this weekend, it has some potential for more riders to rise to the occasion, but the majority have turned their attention to the upcoming outdoor Nationals. The things to watch for are: (1) Can Jason Anderson win his 7th 450 Supercross this season. (2) Who will stand on the third step of the overall series points chase? Malcolm Stewart? Justin Barcia (just 4 points behind)? Or Marvin Musquin, who is 8 points back, but is the fastest of the three contenders based on the past 5 races. (3) Technically, this is Justin Brayton’s final AMA Pro race, but we highly doubt that Justin is going to quit cold turkey. He’s got some races left in him.
