SHANGHAI, CHINA, IS THE FINAL PIECE OF THE 2020 GRAND PRIX SCHEDULE

Although the 2020 FIM World Motocross Championships have already started (last week in England), MXGP has just announced that the September 13th Chinese Grand Prix will indeed be held. This has always been in doubt because Chinese GPs are often canceled after being announced. The MXGP of China will return to Shanghai on September 13, 2020. It will be the second-to-last GP of the year (scheduled between Turkey and Italy #3 on consecutive weekends, making travel plans quite hectic). Because of the Coronavirus there is some concern over the upcoming GP in Trentino, Italy, on April 5th, but since China is seven months away health issues for Shanghai should not be a concern for scheduling.
