TAKE A LAP OF SATURDAY’S 2023 NASHVILLE SUPERCROSS TRACK

It’s always nice to go to a relatively new town. Nashville has only ever held one Supercross race and that was back in 2019. It is also the only track design with the dreaded right-hand first turn. Almost all major motocross and Supercross tracks have left-hand first turns because they offer the safety factor allowing the rider to use his rear brakes and still counterbalance the first turn with his inside leg. No so with right-hand first turns. Track designers prefer to left left because if they go right and there is a big first turn pile-up, the track designers take the blame for any injuries.
