TAKE A LAP OF THE THUNDER VALLEY MOTOCROSS LAYOUT ON A BIKE THAT LOOKS LIKE A FLAG

Very few things are resolved after the first two rounds and it is assumed that Colorado’s high altitude and the hot weather of Thunder Valley will shake up a few things in both classes. Already missing are eight 450 riders, who could be considered top ten material. The series lost Justin Bogle this week when he decided to step away from his Twisted Tea Suzuki ride. He joins Adam Cianciarulo, Dylan Ferrandis, Max Anstie, Dean Wilson, Cooper Webb, Malcolm Stewart and Marvin Musquin on the sideline. So much for the packed field! But top ten guys haven’t really made much of a dent in the first two rounds as the established contenders, Chase Sexton, Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac and Jason Anderson, have kept the action hot and heavy way away ahead of the chasers.

The loss of R.J. Hampshire, Austin Forker, Cameron McAdoo, Colt Nichols, Jeremy Martin and Phil Nicoletti has put a damper on the 250 National class—because it will take a village of 250 riders to hold back Jett Lawrence—and that village includes his brother Hunter.
