The tough track in Oakland did not phase Justin Hill’s confidence in Oakland. He had the fastest qualifying time in his class.

Dean Wilson had a rough start to the night on his new Husky ride. He couldn’t stay on two wheels, but pulled off his goal of a top ten in the main event.
Justin Bogle getting roosted in the air in his heat race. Justin ended up crashing in the main event completing only 4 of the 21 laps.
Eli Tomac put in 21 solid laps and came all the way from 8th place to take the main event win.
With Copper Webb being the fastest qualifier as well as winning his heat race, it looked as if he had a chance to win the main.

The second dragons back was very technical. You had to hit the last whoop with force and get enough flight to clear the gap to the landing. Only a few riders were doing this consistently. Eli Tomac demonstrates.
