Episode 10 of our ‘This Week in MXA‘ video series presented by O’Neal Racing is live. In this video, we go over some lofty topics like the new partnership between KTM, Honda and Yamaha that was created to develop a standardized battery system for their future electric motorcycles and other small electric vehicles. We also share our first hand experience with the KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas recall on their 2021 chains as we found our 2021 GasGas 125 had some big cracks in two of the the rollers. Then we dive into some lighter and more humorous topics like ProGrip Goggles’ tearoff retention system that Red Bull KTM 250 rider Mattia Guadagnini wore at the Italian race this passed weekend. Then, we throw a pair of Alpinestars Super Victory leather boots on for a few laps at Fox Raceway to see what it was like for the pioneers of motocross back in the day.
