THIS WEEK IN MXA: MIKE ALESSI VICTORIOUS DESPITE LANDING ON A RIDER

In episode 46 of our ‘This Week in MXA‘ video series presented by O’Neal, the MXA wrecking crew goes racing at the 2021 Dubya World Vet Championships at Glen Helen. It was a big weekend of racing with tons of riders and, unfortunately, a massive crash in the Over-30 Pro race. Mike Alessi was incredibly lucky to ride away from the incident relatively uninjured, and somehow he still won the race after it was restarted. The other rider wasn’t as lucky and we are praying and hoping the best for his recovery.

In this episode, we talk about Alessi’s big weekend at Glen Helen, talk about the battles in the Over-30 and Over-50 Pasha 125 Open classes and highlight some of our own adventures from the racing as well. Then, we scoured the pits to interview people who had to travel from near and far to get to the race.
