THIS WEEK IN MXA WITH JOSH MOSIMAN: TOMAC’S ANAHEIM HISTORY & OAKLAND SUPERCROSS MUDFEST NEWS
There is no doubt that the Anaheim I was an epic race, highlighted by the number of 450 riders trading place at the front of the pack . The real stars was Eli Tomac, who managed to throw his bike onto the top of table, just missed getting hit by Ken Roczen and remounted to charge back to the front—obvious aided by the large number of crashes and miscues—the most heartbreaking by Malcom Stewart. But, this Saturday’s Oakland Supercross will also be epic…in two ways: (1) Oakland has been inundated by wave after wave of massive rain storms this January. The rain total are gigantic by California standards. (2) The Dirt Wurx crew is in Oakland right now, in the rain, doing everything in their power to make Saturday memorable. If they succeed that will be epic.
