THIS WEEK IN MXA: OSBORNE TALKS RETIREMENT, AIR SHOCKS & HIS COMEBACK

ZACH OSBORNE INTERVIEW: HE’S NOT DONE YET – THIS WEEK IN MXA

In episode 44 of our ‘This Week in MXA‘ video series presented by O’Neal, we talk with Zach Osborne to learn all about the eventful year he has had. After a successful 2020 season that resulted in his first ever 450 Supercross win at the 2020 Salt Lake City Supercross finale, his first ever 450 National win at Loretta Lynns and ultimately a 450 National Championship, Zach came into the 2021 season with a full head of steam. Unfortunately, the year didn’t pan out as expected. Injuries caught up with Zach and caused him to bow out of the Supercross and motocross series’ early, almost pushing him into retirement. Then, when his back started to feel better and Rockstar Husqvarna was still searching for a 450 rider, Zach was able to jump back into his original plan which was to race in 2022 and retire afterwards. In this interview, Zach explains the process he went through, plus he talks about his reason for leaving Aldon Baker’s training program and what it was like to ride with the elusive WP air shock as well.
