TOMAC & POURCEL SET FAST TIMES IN MUDDY CREEK QUALIFYING

The biggest surprise of Muddy Creek Qualifying was that, in his first outdoor National of 2014, Geico Honda’s Eli Tomac set fast time with a 1:57.34. Ken Roczen was second (1:58.29), Trey Canard third (1:58.40), James Stewart fourth (1:58.78). The other rider making his outdoor debut for 2014, Justin Brayton set the 20th fastest time with a 2:05.32.

Christophe Pourcel was the fastest rider in 250 qualifying with a 1:58.80 in front of Marvin Musquin’s 2:00.44, Jeremy Martin’s 2:00.70 and Cooper Webb’s 2:01.15. Dean Wilson has returned to racing after getting hurt at the Glen Helen opener. Dean was sixth fastest at 2:01.55.
