TONY CAIROLI CRASHES OUT OF SECOND MOTO IN LATVIA—HANDS TIM GAJSER A BIG 450 POINTS LEAD

Team KTM went from sitting pretty with Herlings finally back from his preseason injury and Tony Cairoli starting the 450  season with consecutive wins. Now the bloom is off the roe as both Herlings and Cairoli were injured at the Latvian MXGP race. Cairoli has a dislocated shoulder and Herlings broke his ankle when Arminus Jasikonis ran over it when Herlings fell on the warm-up lap. Now, Tim Gajser has a 31-point lead over Cairoli in the 450 World Championship. As for Herlings, he is 22nd in points and is 334 points behind Tim Gakser.
