JUSTIN BARCIA TAKES OUT MARTIN DAVALOS FOR CROSS-JUMPING HIM AT SAN DIEGO SX PRESS DAY (UPDATED)

JUSTIN BARCIA TAKES OUT MARTIN DAVALOS FOR CROSS JUMPING HIM AT SAN DIEGO SUPERCROSS PRESS DAY

Press Day at the 2020 San Diego Supercross was going smoothly. Clear skies, awesome dirt, great riders. During the first of two sessions, Martin Davalos and Justin Barcia looked like they were riding together. When Justin pulled up to Martin, Martin looked over and acknowledge Justin was inside of him going into a tricky rhythm section. Martin went right and Barcia left. From here we are unsure what happened, but Martin came over in the air almost hitting Barcia. It looks like the rut Martin got in shot him left on accident. After the jump, Martin got off the gas to let Barcia by. Barcia felt the cross jump was deliberate and went up high on Davalos to take out his front wheel. The two had words after the practice session. We wish we were a fly on the fall for that conversation.
