WATCH A2 HIGHLIGHTS: TOMAC MAKES IT 4 WINNERS IN 4 RACES

With four races down, out of the 17 AMA Supercross races scheduled for this season, Eli Tomac has joined Chase Sexton, Jason Anderson and Ken Roczen on the winners roster. Tomac’s bike was already wearing the points leader’s red plate, but he came into the Anaheim 2 Supercross with the slimmest of points leads, but his A2 win padded his lead over is chasers by a slightly better advantage, at 6 points over Jason Anderson.

Early leader Ken Roczen and Jason Anderson collided in the sand berm when Roczen went to the outside and Anderson went to the inside. Roczen went down hard in what was a “racing incident” as the two lines merged—but Roczen dropped out of the top ten for the night. Husqvarna’s Malcolm Stewart finally got a good start, but the pressure up front was too much and he settled in for another 5th place finish. Six of the top ten bikes at Anaheim 2 were from Austria, but the front four were from Japan. Current AMA Supercross Champion Cooper Webb struggled to make passes and ended the night in 8th, but is still 4th in series points (12 points behind the points leader). Next Saturday’s race is in Phoenix.
