WATCH LAST NIGHT’S 450 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS IN UNDER 3 MINUTES

2020 AMA Supercross points leader Eli Tomac started back in 10th place and took his time working his way up, but when he finally got into third place behind Zach Osborne and Cooper Webb he was surprised to find that Webb had another gear left. It was a great chase, but KTM-mounted Cooper Webb actually got better in the last three laps to ride to victory. For all practical purposes, the 2020 Supercross Championship is Eli Tomac’s. He has a 27-point lead over Webb and 29-point margin on Ken Roczen. That means that Tomac could DNF the next round on Sunday and still be in the points lead (a victory pays 26 points). Barring catastrophe, Tomac will get the 450 Supercross title that has eluded the Kawasaki rider for years.
